The Economist has set up two blogs – Free Exchange and Democracy in America. (Link via CL)

There is a new Australian blog called Sidelined that will feature contributors from across the political spectrum in a spirit of ecumenicalism to promote something I generally find boring i.e. sports (though I may be tempted to check in occasionally if they get themselves a boxing correspondent). However this will probably emerge as a red hot blog as it builds itself up.
